President Donald Trump to attend US Open final on Sunday

U.S. President Donald Trump will attend the men’s US Open final in New York on Sunday, a White House official confirmed to Fox News on Thursday night.

The match will be held at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing Meadows, Queens, but the two finalists are not yet known. No American men will compete in the final this year, as Taylor Fritz, the last U.S. player in the tournament, was eliminated earlier.

Friday’s semifinals will decide the finalists, with Novak Djokovic facing Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner taking on Felix Auger-Aliassime. Since returning to the White House, Trump has been spotted at several major sporting events.

He attended the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in New Jersey in July and celebrated Chelsea FC’s victory on the field. He also went to the Super Bowl in February, where the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs, and attended a UFC event in April alongside top administration officials.
