Joe Biden seen with head bandage after skin cancer surgery

Former U.S. President Joe Biden was recently seen with a noticeable bandage on his head after undergoing surgery to remove skin cancer.

The 82-year-old had Mohs surgery, a medical procedure where thin layers of skin are removed one at a time and checked under a microscope until no cancer cells remain. Doctors have not confirmed the exact type of skin cancer that was treated.

Over the U.S. Labor Day weekend, Biden was filmed leaving a church service in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, with the bandage covering part of his head. He was also seen at a local ice cream shop wearing a baseball cap, seemingly to hide the wound.

A few days later, he attended the funeral of former Delaware Governor and U.S. Rep. Mike Castle, still with the bandage in place.

This operation adds to his ongoing health struggles. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Biden has Stage 4 prostate cancer that has spread to his bones.

Doctors described it as very aggressive, giving it the highest severity rating with a Gleason score of 9 and Grade Group 5.

In 2023, First Lady Jill Biden also underwent Mohs surgery to remove several growths, including one close to her eye.

That same year, doctors removed a basal cell carcinoma from Joe Biden’s chest, and he was briefly considered cancer-free.

Despite these challenges, Biden continues to make public appearances. However, recent images and videos have raised fresh concerns about his health and growing frailty.
