Former Nigerian Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung, has voiced strong criticism against President Bola Tinubu for taking time off while the country faces serious security problems.

On Thursday, September 4, the Presidency announced that President Tinubu would be traveling to the UK for his yearly vacation.

Dalung, who was a Minister during the Buhari administration, took to his X account to express disappointment, saying it was inappropriate for the President to go on leave while insecurity is spreading across many regions in Nigeria.
