Media personality and former presidential aide, Reuben Abati, has criticized FCT Minister Nyesom Wike after the minister said that former PDP member Peter Obi “lacks character” and should not return to the party. Wike claimed Obi coming back to PDP would only harm the party.

Wike argued that the PDP is the same party Peter Obi once called “rotten,” and returning to it would show a lack of character.

On Arise TV, Abati strongly disagreed with Wike. He said the minister has no right to judge anyone’s character.

Abati pointed out that Wike’s claim that the PDP would be ruined if Obi returned is unfounded. He added that Wike himself is not in a position to question character and should reflect on his own actions first.

He further criticized Wike for making such claims on live television, saying it shows a lack of intelligence and decorum.

Abati also reminded viewers that Peter Obi left PDP for the Labour Party and is now in the ADC.

He emphasized that Wike has played a role in damaging the party and questioned what gives him the moral authority to speak about others’ character.
