I took oath, bet on country – Tinubu begs Nigerians

President Bola Tinubu has reminded Nigerians that he took an oath to serve the entire country and not just a section of it. He explained that this oath guides all the development projects his administration is carrying out across the nation.

Tinubu said Nigerians can place their trust in the country’s future because no citizen will be left behind. He stressed that his government is working to make sure everyone benefits from ongoing projects.

He highlighted several major projects, such as the Lagos–Calabar Highway in the South, the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway in the North, the Port Harcourt–Maiduguri rail in the East, and the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano expressway in the Centre. He also mentioned the Trans-Saharan highway, which connects Nigeria with other African countries.

According to him, health centres are being upgraded nationwide, light rail projects in Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, and Ogun have been approved, and 250,000 new jobs are being created.

He added that Kaduna is set to get back electricity through a revived 255MW power plant, while new bridges in Onitsha and Bonny are reconnecting communities.

Tinubu also revealed that oil exploration has expanded in Bauchi and Gombe, while the AKK gas pipeline has already crossed the River Niger, boosting Nigeria’s energy development.

He explained that the Renewed Hope agenda is for everyone—farmers who need roads, traders who need electricity, children who need schools, and patients who need healthcare.

He assured that no Nigerian will be treated as second class and no region will be left out of development plans.

Tinubu called on citizens to believe in the nation, stressing that together Nigerians will rise as one people with one destiny. He urged everyone to “bet on Nigeria.”
