A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Pantami Ward, Gombe State, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Adamu, has officially left the party to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Adamu explained in a statement that his decision was driven by personal conviction and his desire to play a more active role in strengthening Nigeria’s democracy.
He said moving to the ADC was a deliberate step to take a new political direction, guided by his strong belief in contributing meaningfully to democratic values in the country.
Adamu, who is also known as Cikasoro, expressed gratitude to the PDP for the experiences and opportunities he had during his time in the party, noting that the decision was not an easy one but a necessary choice.
