Reality TV personality Porsha Williams has accused her former husband, Simon Guobadia, of not paying what he owes her, claiming the total debt is nearly $700,000.
Legal filings show that Williams says Guobadia has not kept up with payments for their former home, alimony, legal fees, and property taxes.
She told the court that his failure to pay is “a knowing, intentional, and ongoing disregard” of the court’s orders.
Williams, who finalized her divorce from Guobadia in June after less than two years of marriage, says the total unpaid amount is $667,359.55.
She has asked the court to hold him in contempt and suggested that he could repay the money by giving up his share of their old home.
Guobadia responded to the claims by telling TMZ that he only heard about the new filings through the media. He noted that their divorce case is under review by the Georgia Court of Appeals and dismissed the new filings, saying they are essentially “toilet tissue for the public’s consumption.”
The couple married in 2022, but Williams filed for divorce in February 2024, shortly after Guobadia was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Williams said at the time that her decision to divorce focused on moving forward with her family and was not related to his immigration issues.
This dispute over payments is the latest development in the couple’s highly publicized split. Guobadia has not made any further public comments.
