Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Umeh has revealed that her colleague, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, usually refuses to take on kissing or romantic roles in movies.

She made this statement while speaking on a recent episode of the Where Is The Lie podcast.

According to Umeh, Chioma’s decision comes from her strong Catholic background.

“Chioma Chukwuka was raised in a strict Catholic home. Because of that, she doesn’t take up kissing or romantic parts in films.

I know this from experience. She was even a legionary in the church and has always been disciplined,” Umeh explained.

But despite these claims, Chioma has actually acted in some romantic films. For instance, in the movie Seven Doors, she shared a kissing scene with actor Femi Adebayo.
