Osas Ighodaro has opened up about her first on-screen kiss in Nollywood, and it wasn’t what she expected at all. The popular actress revealed that the experience left her surprised because the actor involved decided to use his tongue.
Ighodaro, who moved to Nigeria from the United States in 2012, explained that the incident happened during her early days in the film industry.
She admitted that the moment caught her off guard since she had prepared for a normal kiss scene.
Speaking on The Culture League podcast, the actress described the experience as her first big shock in Nollywood. She noted that while she knew a kiss was part of the script, she never thought it would go that way.
She explained that in the film industry, actors usually discuss such details before a scene. According to her, if someone plans to add an element like using their tongue, it should be talked about beforehand. Otherwise, the basic rule is to keep the kiss simple and professional.
