Nigerian vlogger Grace Ajilore recently shared an important message about manipulation. She said that no one can control you unless you allow it.
According to her, people are usually manipulated when they are desperate for approval, friendship, or recognition. Seeking constant validation makes it easier for others to influence your actions.
Grace explained that if you are confident and don’t crave anyone’s approval, manipulation cannot affect you.
When you are independent and satisfied with yourself, you become “unmanipulatable.” You won’t care if someone likes you or wants to be your friend.
She added that if you don’t feel desperate to be around certain people, you can simply walk away. Not needing to be in someone’s space protects you from being controlled or influenced.
