Nigerian singer Raoul Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has shared how a prayer he made at Shiloh in 2013 changed the direction of his career. According to him, his breakthrough in music came after attending the programme at Winners’ Chapel.
At the time, Skales was struggling to move forward in his career after leaving Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).
Things were slow until his colleague, Timaya, encouraged him to attend Shiloh. During the programme, participants were told to write down seven things they wanted God to do. Skales said he wrote “a global hit song” seven times.
Not long after, he recorded his hit track Shake Body in 2015, which became his biggest success. The song has now made a fresh comeback after Barcelona star Lamine Yamal and some of his teammates danced to it, bringing the track back into the global spotlight.
Reflecting on his journey, Skales took to X to thank God for answering his prayer. He explained that Shake Body is a song that keeps opening doors for him and never seems to fade away, no matter how much time passes.
