Rapper Travis Scott & Tyla’s video shoot in London targeted by knifeman

American rapper Travis Scott’s music video shoot in London was thrown into chaos after a man allegedly threatened one of the crew members with a knife.

The 34-year-old rapper and South African singer Tyla, 23, were filming near Broadwater Farm Estate in Tottenham on Wednesday when the incident happened.

Tyla was performing when the man reportedly came close to the set and began causing trouble just a short distance away.

A crew member who tried to get him to leave claimed that the man became aggressive and pulled out what looked like a knife.

A source told The Sun that although the shoot was on a quiet street, the large presence of staff and security drew attention. The witness explained that things became frightening when the man refused to leave and acted threateningly.

Both stars were quickly protected. Travis was already away from the scene while Tyla was taken off set. The production went into lockdown, and police were called immediately.

The Metropolitan Police later confirmed the incident is under investigation. A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession and a public order offence.

The video shoot took place close to Broadwater Farm Estate, an area known for violent clashes in 1985 when officer Keith Blakelock was killed during riots.

Police said a man had flagged them down in Tottenham to report being threatened with a knife. Officers later found a suspect who resisted a search, leading to his arrest. Drugs and cash were recovered, but no knife was found.

The suspect was taken to a north London police station where he remains in custody as investigations continue.
