A Nigerian man named Chimnoya has sparked a heated debate online after accusing women of reducing Africa’s population by choosing to have fewer children.

According to him, many Nigerian women are now comfortable with giving birth to only one, two, or three children, which he believes could negatively affect population growth on the continent.

He further argued that some women even stop their husbands from taking more wives when they desire larger families. In his view, this attitude is an obstacle to expanding households and, by extension, increasing Africa’s population.
