Abuja-Kaduna road now safe. I travelled without security – Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has said the Abuja-Kaduna road is now much safer than it used to be.

Speaking to journalists after touring the road on Thursday, August 27, Omokri explained that the once dreaded highway has become secure under the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

He shared that he travelled the road without security escorts and still arrived safe. Omokri noted that even though he has many political rivals who wish him harm, his journey showed that the highway is no longer as dangerous as before.

He further pointed out that military checkpoints have been set up at different points along the highway. According to him, these security outposts are not just stationed but mobile, making the presence of security officers more effective.

Omokri praised the Tinubu administration for its efforts, saying the safety of the Abuja-Kaduna road is no longer a matter of chance but a result of deliberate government action.
