Ghanaian actor-turned-politician John Dumelo and his wife Gifty recently revealed a special family secret — they welcomed a baby boy last year.

The couple made the announcement on Instagram while celebrating their son’s first birthday, keeping the news private until now.

Gifty shared beautiful family photos, including pictures from her pregnancy that fans had never seen before. She also wrote a touching message dedicated to their son, Demi Jacob Kudzo Dumelo.

She expressed her joy in her post, writing that Demi, their campaign baby, brings laughter, peace, and happiness to their lives.

She prayed that his name, which means “deliver us” in the Ewe language, would always fulfill its meaning. She wished him the happiest first birthday and expressed her love for him.
