Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna, has issued a strong demand to the Dangote Group after her sister, Ruth Otabor, was hurt in a serious accident.

In a recent post, Phyna said that Dangote must ensure her sister receives medical treatment in India following the tragic incident in Edo State.

The accident happened on August 13, 2025, near Auchi Polytechnic, just six days after Ruth had graduated. She suffered injuries so severe that one of her legs had to be amputated.

Phyna wrote on Sunday: “I am treating my sister as Dangote’s own child because if it were Dangote’s child, they wouldn’t leave them here. They would fly them abroad. My sister must be flown to India for treatment.”

The Dangote Group confirmed that they visited the scene of the accident, spoke with the police, and met Ruth’s family at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital.

The company promised to provide full medical support and compensation in line with their welfare policy.

Phyna, who won BBNaija’s “Level Up” edition in 2022 with a ₦100 million prize, has promised to fight for the best care possible for her sister.
