American actress and singer Alix Lapri has been arrested in DeKalb County.
Lapri, whose real name is Alexus Lapri Geier, was charged with disorderly conduct and cruelty to children in the third degree. She was booked into the DeKalb County Jail last week.
According to official records, she spent just over 24 hours behind bars before being released.
The actress is best known for playing Effie Morales in the hit Starz series Power and its spin-off Power Book II: Ghost.
In 2011, Lapri signed with Crown World Entertainment and teamed up with her friend Jacob Latimore to release several music covers, including “My Boo,” originally performed by Usher and Alicia Keys.
A year later, she released her first EP, I Am Alix Lapri, which was made available for free on different platforms and received positive reviews from fans across various groups.
Her acting career also started in 2011, and one of her notable roles was in the movie Den of Thieves, where she acted alongside Gerard Butler and rapper 50 Cent.
