EPL: Arsenal receive fresh injury boost ahead of Liverpool clash

Arsenal have received a major boost as Gabriel Jesus edges closer to full recovery from the knee injury he suffered earlier this year.

The 28-year-old striker had surgery on his ACL after getting injured during Arsenal’s FA Cup third-round defeat to Manchester United in January.

In his absence, the Gunners were busy in the transfer market, signing Noni Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres, and Eberechi Eze to strengthen their attack.

Jesus is now preparing to return and give Arsenal more options in front. On Sunday, he posted a video of himself training on grass and shared how happy he feels after months of struggle, saying it has been seven months of pain, doubt, and anxiety but now he feels like a child playing football again.

The good news doesn’t end there for Arsenal fans. It has also been confirmed that the injuries to Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard picked up against Leeds are not serious, easing earlier concerns.
