Halima Amira Junaid, granddaughter of late Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, is preparing to tie the knot with Walid Shehu Mauzu in Kaduna State.

Halima is the daughter of Nana Hadiza, who is married to Abubakar Malami (SAN), the former Attorney-General of the Federation.

Hadiza is one of Buhari’s daughters from a previous marriage and became the third wife of the AGF.

Before her current marriage, Hadiza was married to Captain Junaid Abdullahi and they have six children together.

The wedding fatiha of Halima and Walid is scheduled to hold on August 30, 2025.
