Nigerian forward Victor Boniface is going through a series of special medical tests at AC Milan as part of his move to the Serie A club.
Milan has already agreed to take him on loan from Bayer Leverkusen for €5 million, with the option to buy him permanently for €25 million.
The 24-year-old arrived in Italy on Friday and visited Milan’s training ground, the Italian Olympic Committee, and Galeazzi Hospital for different checks.
Reports from Football Italia confirm that he will continue with more medical tests on Saturday to make sure he is fully fit.
The extra attention comes because Boniface has dealt with several injuries in the past.
He had surgery for a ligament injury in March 2019 and again in December 2020.
Just last season, he also suffered muscular problems on two different occasions.
