Lawyer and activist Deji Adeyanju has said that the supporters of Peter Obi, called Obidients, might be the reason Obi may never become president.

In a post on his X account today, Deji explained that the Obidients have over time developed a habit of insulting and threatening anyone who disagrees with them. He believes this behavior was a major factor in Peter Obi losing the last presidential election.

Deji warned that while having supporters is important, the way they act online could harm a candidate more than it helps. According to him, the Obidients’ aggressive approach may be Obi’s biggest challenge in future elections.
