The Nigerian government has raised concern over the spread of fake Cowbell “Our Milk” in markets across the country.

In a statement released on Friday, the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) confirmed the development through its official website.

The agency explained that Promasidor Nigeria Limited, the company that produces and distributes Cowbell milk, has identified the circulation of fake products.

According to NAFDAC, the counterfeit sachets are designed to look very similar to the original Cowbell “Our Milk” 12g packs, but they are not genuine.

The agency warned that consuming these fake milk products could lead to serious health and safety problems for Nigerians.
