A Nigerian lady has opened up about her heartbreaking experience after marrying a white man and relocating to the UK to be with him.

She said the marriage quickly turned sour as her husband started hurling insults at her, using hurtful words like “bitch,” “animal,” “fat,” and even calling her a “Nigerian scammer.”

Things got worse just two months after she moved. She revealed that he physically attacked her, punching her in the face several times and strangling her, which left her living in constant fear.

The woman also shared that the abuse did not stop even when she lost her father. Instead of comforting her, her husband mocked her and compared her unfavorably to his children, saying they were “smarter than her.”

Eventually, she moved out of their home to protect herself. However, just two weeks later, he filed for divorce. Despite the painful experience, she said she now feels free, happier, and grateful to be out of the abusive relationship.
