A popular TV hair and make-up professional, Travis Renee Baldwin, was tragically killed by her own son on Sunday, August 17, inside her apartment near Washington, DC.
The 57-year-old was reportedly shot by her 27-year-old son, Logan Chrisinger, in their Arlington, Virginia home just before 8:30 a.m. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but sadly did not survive.
Police confirmed that Chrisinger stayed at the scene after the shooting. He was taken into custody immediately and is now being held without bond at the Arlington County Detention Facility.

Baldwin was widely respected in the television industry, having worked for many years with different media outlets. She most recently worked at Newsmax, where she was known for doing make-up for anchors, including Greta Van Susteren.
Van Susteren shared her sadness on X, saying she had worked with Baldwin for more than three years. She recalled that Baldwin did her make-up on Friday and that she never imagined it would be the last time they would see each other.
Newsmax White House producer Marisela Ramirez also paid tribute to Baldwin, calling her “Heaven’s newest angel.” Ramirez described her as someone with a kind heart who worked hard for her family without complaints.
She also remembered Baldwin’s gentle touch, noting how she often comforted her clients by playing with their hair and listening to their problems, treating everyone with the care of a mother.
