Two young boys were captured looking at the body of their 3-year-old friend, Moses Mokua, during his funeral. The moment showed their sadness and confusion.

Moses tragically passed away after going to play at a neighbor’s house in Kisii, Kenya. He had been healthy, and his grandmother had left him in the care of a relative on August 6, 2025.

The family said the neighbor had invited Moses to play with her child. But when he returned home, he was nowhere to be found. A search around the compound ended in heartbreak when they discovered him in a water drum.

Moses was laid to rest on August 19, 2025. His friends walked up to his coffin and stared at him, trying to understand why he could no longer play. Many people online shared their thoughts, with some saying the boys were wondering what had happened to Moses, while others believed they were puzzled why he didn’t get up to play again.
