2Face’s ‘African Queen’ tops Billboard Best Afrobeats Songs of All-Time list

American music magazine Billboard has released its list of the Top 50 Best Afrobeats Songs of All Time.

At the very top of the chart is 2Face Idibia’s evergreen hit African Queen, which Billboard ranked as the number one Afrobeats song ever.

Wizkid is the only artist with two songs in the top ten. His classic Ojuelegba came in second place, while Essence featuring Tems was ranked fifth.

Although Nigerian artists dominated the list, Ghanaian stars also made their mark. Fuse ODG’s Azonto featuring Itz Tiffany was placed at number 18, while Sarkodie’s Adonai with Castro came in at number 19.
