Congo striker Gosim Duvan Elenga has declared that his team is fully focused on defeating Nigeria in their decisive group match at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

Barthelemy Ngatsono’s men will face Nigeria in their last Group D game on Tuesday at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Congo currently sits in third place with two points after playing two matches in the group.

To qualify for the quarter-finals, the East Africans must defeat Nigeria and secure all three points.

Elenga stressed that the team is determined to fight hard for victory, adding that they are not settling for anything less.
