A Nigerian lawyer, Chisom Agbafor, has highlighted that mothers-in-law often play a big role in causing marital issues.

She explained that from her experience handling divorce cases, she noticed a pattern: mothers-in-law are sometimes more responsible for breaking marriages than the couples themselves.

Agbafor added, “How can someone move in with a newly married couple and stay until the birth of their child? This kind of interference is harmful,” sharing her thoughts on social media.
