The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, has requested the public’s assistance in identifying a young woman seen on video dumping trash on a busy road.

A social media user shared that they witnessed the woman committing the act. When confronted, she reportedly said she was the daughter of a government officer, suggesting she wouldn’t face any consequences.

The user wrote: “Today at Abijo bus stop, she came from her home just to dump garbage on the highway. When I asked her to clean it up, she said her dad is an officer and nothing would happen. We need to take action.”

This incident highlights the ongoing challenge of enforcing environmental rules and the need for public cooperation in keeping Lagos clean.
