“He married me under false pretence and scammed me of my money” 55-year-old American woman slams 26-year-old Nigerian man and his family

A 55-year-old woman from the United States has accused her much younger Nigerian husband and his family of deceiving her in a romance scam.

She shared a video online to warn others about the dangers of falling victim to similar scams.

The woman revealed that she is a single mother with health issues, including a heart condition and diabetes. She said the man and his family targeted her finances.

In the video, she displayed a photo of four siblings, identifying one as Kindness, her 26-year-old alleged husband.

She claims that Kindness married her under false pretenses to take advantage of her financially.

She also accused Kindness’ siblings – his sister Godness and brothers Ifeanyi and Ebuka – of being involved in the scam. She said they have been living a lavish lifestyle, spending money at hotels and lounges using her funds.

The woman said that the total amount taken from her is around $80,000 over three years.

She added that the family claims to be devout Christians.

Expressing her anger, she said: “His father is a church deacon, yet they raised someone who would marry me just to take my money. How can you pray to God and still cheat me?”

She further stated that she has placed a curse on the family.

She went on to say: “I will make sure this Igbo man, his sister, and the rest of his family face consequences. They took $80,000 from me, yet I made sure they lived well. And now they continue to exploit others.”

Finally, she urged people to learn from her experience, warning that the man is likely seeking new victims.
