Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has shared his excitement about the possibility of the club qualifying for European competitions at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Last season, Fulham came very close to securing a European ticket. Despite collecting their highest-ever Premier League points total, the team fell short of making it to continental football.
Marco Silva’s men also saw their FA Cup dream cut short in the quarter-finals, where they were knocked out by eventual winners Crystal Palace.
Iwobi is no stranger to European nights, having played in both the UEFA Champions League and Europa League during his years at Arsenal.
The Nigerian international made it clear that he is eager to experience those big European occasions again.
“Every player dreams of playing in Europe. I’ve been there before, and I definitely want to feel that again,” Iwobi told Standard Sport.
