Afrobeats superstar Davido has called out those spreading claims that his friend and talent manager, Ubi Franklin, stole a luxury watch during his wedding in Miami last weekend.

The rumour began circulating on social media on Wednesday after it was posted by a blog.

Reacting to the claims, Franklin took to his X account to set the record straight, describing the report as completely false and misleading.

Following Franklin’s denial, Davido stepped in to show support, saying his friend owed no one an explanation.

He wrote, “You owe nobody any explanation… fools,” making it clear where he stood on the matter.
