Singer Simi has spoken out, demanding that airport staff involved in leaking an indecent video of Ibom Air passenger Comfort Emmanson be punished.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Simi explained that the situation went beyond Comfort’s own actions on the flight.

She highlighted that someone recorded Comfort being forcefully removed from the plane, filmed her while she was indecently exposed, and then uploaded the unedited clip online.

According to Simi, if the authorities are set on penalizing Comfort for her behaviour, they should also take action against the officer responsible for exposing her in such a degrading way.

She stressed that addressing one wrongdoing should not mean ignoring another.
