EPL: Man Utd to arrange secret friendly to get two players ready for Arsenal clash

Manchester United is planning a private friendly match this week to help two of their players get ready for the first Premier League game against Arsenal.

The Red Devils will kick off the new season at home, facing Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal this Sunday.

Manchester United finished their official pre-season with a 1-1 draw against Fiorentina on Saturday.

On the other hand, Ruben Amorim’s Arsenal have already played several English teams including Leeds United, West Ham, Bournemouth, and Everton during their pre-season.

After the game with Fiorentina, Amorim said he has a good idea of the team he will use to face Arsenal.

However, he urged his players to train hard and show more determination this week, hoping it might make him change his selection.

The friendly game will give those players a chance to prove themselves.

According to The Times, Manchester United wants to organize this match with a nearby team to give Benjamin Sesko and Andre Onana some real match experience before the big game.
