Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman could be heading to the Premier League, as reports suggest he has been offered to Arsenal.
According to football journalist Nicolo Schira, representatives have reached out to the Gunners to explore the possibility of a move for the Nigerian international.
Lookman is reportedly eager to leave Atalanta this summer. However, his potential switch to Inter Milan has hit a snag, with multiple bids from the Serie A giants being turned down by Atalanta.
It is understood that Atalanta are more open to selling Lookman to a club outside Italy, which is why he was offered to Arsenal.
Despite the offer, Lookman is still hoping that a deal with Inter Milan can go through, as he has already agreed personal terms with the club.
Meanwhile, Arsenal seem more focused on signing Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze to strengthen their attack in the ongoing transfer window.
Lookman currently has just one year remaining on his contract with Atalanta, which could influence the club’s decision to sell him this summer.
