Cristiano Ronaldo, who leads the Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, has spoken out about Joao Felix’s recent move to the team.

Felix made the switch to Al Nassr during this summer’s transfer window after leaving Chelsea.

Once seen as a rising star at Benfica, Felix’s career hasn’t gone as expected in recent years.

He moved to Atletico Madrid in 2019 with high hopes but struggled to make a big impact.

To regain form, he had loan spells at both Barcelona and Chelsea. He later signed permanently with Chelsea.

However, under Chelsea’s new manager, Enzo Maresca, Felix didn’t fit into the squad and was loaned to AC Milan in January. Eventually, he ended up signing with Al Nassr.

Cristiano Ronaldo believes that Felix made a smart choice by coming to Saudi Arabia.

Speaking to The TouchlineX, Ronaldo said, “It was a better option for Joao Félix to go to Saudi Arabia than to play in the Portuguese league. He took the right decision.”
