Transfer: Valencia table loan bid for Super Eagles striker

Spanish football club Valencia are looking to bring back Nigerian forward Umar Sadiq on another loan deal, according to a report by DAILY POST.

The striker, who is currently contracted to Real Sociedad, played for Valencia during the second half of last season. He made a noticeable impact by scoring five goals in 16 La Liga matches.

Although Sadiq played a key role in helping Valencia avoid relegation, the club did not make his stay permanent at the end of the season.

However, fresh reports from Spanish outlet Sport suggest that Valencia have renewed their interest in the 27-year-old. They are now hoping to sign him on a season-long loan.

Valencia, managed by Carlos Corberán, are reportedly ready to cover the striker’s full wages during the loan period.

Apart from Valencia, other clubs such as Getafe, Girona, and Turkish side Samsunspor are also said to be eyeing a move for the Super Eagles forward.
