Yinka Theisen, who was once in a relationship with Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, has responded to those criticizing her for still using her ex-husband’s surname. The criticism started after some social media users questioned why she continues to identify with the name of her former Caucasian partner despite being divorced.

This morning, Yinka took to Instagram to address the issue. She posted a photo of herself with her ex-husband and explained that although their marriage ended years ago, she chose to keep his last name. According to her, this decision is personal and not open for public judgment.

She went on to share that even after the divorce was finalized, they lived together for another year and still maintain a strong, respectful bond. Yinka emphasized that there is no bad blood between them and that their friendship has remained intact over the years.

Ending her message, Yinka warned trolls to stop insulting her ex-husband. She made it clear that she will not allow anyone to speak poorly of him, regardless of the fact that they are no longer married.
