Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has assured citizens that there will be uninterrupted electricity supply across the country before President Bola Ahmed Tinubu completes his tenure in 2031.
He made this known during the commissioning of a new power project, the Kwaru 1X15 MVA 33/11KV Injection Substation, located in the Ikotun-Egbe area of Lagos State. The event took place on Saturday, August 2.
According to Adelabu, the current administration understands that electricity is more than just a service—it is a major driver of economic development and employment. He said reliable power is essential for achieving the goals of the government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He further stated that President Tinubu is committed to solving the nation’s power problems and is determined to ensure that every Nigerian enjoys consistent and reliable electricity before the end of his time in office.
