A 51-year-old teacher, Mrs. Emmanuel Love Onuora, was found dead inside a commercial tricycle in Aba, Abia State, on Tuesday, July 29.

Mrs. Onuora, who was well-known for her role at a private school in the city, had boarded the tricycle for her usual journey along Aba Road. The rider, identified as Mr. Okechukwu Sunday, is originally from Anambra State but resides in Aba.

During the trip, another passenger joined the ride. It was this passenger who noticed that Mrs. Onuora had become unresponsive. Efforts to revive her failed, raising alarm.

The tricycle driver reported the situation to the Area Commander’s office in Aba. From there, she was rushed to St. Francis Hospital, where doctors confirmed her death.

Her body has been taken to the mortuary, and police have begun an investigation to uncover the cause of her sudden passing.
