EPL: What will happen when I leave Man City – Guardiola

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed his plans to take a long break from coaching once he leaves the club.

Since joining Manchester City, Guardiola has won a total of 18 trophies. These include six Premier League titles and the Champions League, making him one of the most successful managers in the club’s history.

Guardiola, who is currently 54 years old, signed a new contract with the club in November 2023. That deal will keep him at City until 2027.

Speaking to GQ Spain, Guardiola said he plans to rest and take care of his health after his time with Manchester City comes to an end.

He made it clear that his decision is final. “I’m sure I’ll stop after this chapter with City,” he said.

Guardiola added that he doesn’t know how long the break will last. It could be one year, or even as long as fifteen years. However, he stressed that he needs to take a break and focus on his body and personal well-being.
