Bayern Munich has reached a final agreement to sign Colombian forward Luis Diaz from Liverpool.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Bayern, now managed by Vincent Kompany, has completed a deal with Liverpool for the player.
Both clubs agreed on a transfer package worth €75 million.
Liverpool has also given Diaz permission to go for his medical check-up with the German team in the coming days.
Diaz had shown interest in leaving Liverpool, and the club agreed to let him go based on the offer from Bayern.
The 28-year-old attacker is now expected to sign a four-year contract with the Bundesliga giants.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s manager Arne Slot explained that Diaz was not part of the squad that lost 4-2 to AC Milan in a pre-season friendly because of his transfer plans.
