A Nigerian man has raised concerns over the high cost of malaria treatment in the country, especially the price of Coartem.
He shared that one of his staff members was unwell the previous day, so he told her to get treatment. Later, he was shocked to see that Coartem, a commonly used malaria drug, was among the medicines she received and it now costs almost ₦10,000.
The man expressed anger and disappointment about how expensive basic healthcare has become. He pointed out that this situation shows how bad things have gotten under the current government.
He also warned people not to support President Tinubu for a second term in 2027. According to him, if anyone around him ever says Tinubu should continue after 2027, he will see them as an enemy.
