Reality TV star Tacha has strongly criticized her own generation of Nigerians, calling them the most cowardly and least intelligent. She made this statement on her X account, where she often talks about national issues.
Tacha said that instead of working to improve Nigeria, most young people today are only thinking about how to “japa,” a popular slang for leaving the country. According to her, many young Nigerians now spend time queuing at embassies, hoping to get visas and move abroad.
She compared them to Nigerians in their twenties from earlier years, who she said fought for their country and stood up for what they believed in. But now, Tacha believes young people are more interested in escaping the country than fixing it.
