Popular Nigerian car dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD, has finally spoken out about the accusations linked to his wife Bimbo’s death. He said the situation has been misunderstood and he’s ready to set the record straight.
IVD explained that he went through a very hard time, comparing it to seeing “99” out of “100,” but thanked God he didn’t completely break down. He believes everything that happened was planned to destroy him.
He claimed that some bloggers were paid to damage his name. IVD said he now has chats, proof, and documents to support his side of the story, and he’s ready to show the truth.
After everything he went through, IVD said he made up his mind not to fall in love again. But then he met someone new who brought peace into his life. He showed appreciation, saying he would never let this person go.
IVD also addressed the major claim that he was behind his wife’s death. He said Bimbo took her own life and tried to drag him with her. According to him, he rushed her to many hospitals, and the whole thing happened in the public eye.
He wrote:
“Now my name is Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna. I reside at Megamund Estate, Ikota, where there’s no fence. All neighbours saw what happened… you were never present at that point, not on ground or even called to ask what transpired. You went to pay blogs to cry that I kpaied someone.”
When a follower in the comment section said he used to cheat on his wife constantly and is now acting faithful to a new woman, IVD replied, defending himself from the cheating claims.
IVD wrote:
“Never cheated. Cheating wasn’t the issue. She wanted to take all my properties. Go back online, she kept saying ‘pound of flesh.’ She is the problem. Everyone knows. Even the family knows. She is a big P. She has anger issue. It’s a threat of the family — na inbuilt.”
He ended the post saying, “Guys, I’m happy again. Boo boo, you do this one. God bless you.”
