As the 2027 general elections draw near, Nigerian lawyer and activist Deji Adeyanju has shared his opinion on who stands a real chance against President Bola Tinubu.

In a post on social media platform X, Deji stated that former President Goodluck Jonathan is the only politician from the Southern part of Nigeria who has the strength and influence to beat Tinubu in a presidential race.

He went further to say that the other Southern politicians who are preparing to run for the presidency are not serious contenders. According to him, they behave more like content creators than real political challengers.

His post reads;

‘’The only southern candidate that can defeat Tinubu is GEJ and he will not run against Tinubu. All others are content creators who are entertaining their supporters and Nigerians. This post will sense to you until after 2027 election. Tinubu is not Buhari or GEJ.”
