Popular online critic, VeryDarkMan, is back in the spotlight after releasing a diss track that is currently trending across social media platforms. The outspoken commentator didn’t hold back as he took aim at several public figures, including Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, singer Portable, and Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.
In the diss track, VeryDarkMan mocked Governor Okpebholo over his alleged poor WAEC results, which were recently leaked online. According to the results, the governor scored very low grades. VDM used the opportunity to slam the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for clearing Okpebholo to run for office.
He rapped, “E8, WAEC result of a governor. INEC, shame on you,” pointing fingers at the electoral body for what he sees as a lack of academic standards.
VeryDarkMan also continued his long-running feud with street-hop artist Portable. He reminded fans of Portable’s past scandal involving a stolen tricycle, which resulted in the singer being attacked and detained by authorities.
The diss didn’t end there. VDM also turned his attention to Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin. He ridiculed the clergyman’s popular “healing water” and other spiritual products, accusing him of manipulating people who are desperate for help and miracles.
As expected, the diss track sparked different opinions online. While some users praised VeryDarkMan for being bold and outspoken, others felt he crossed the line by attacking people personally.
Here are a few social media reactions:
– @jack_sonsucess: “What a jam!”
– @holamydexloj: “VDM na werey”
– @iamcozzdee: “I love this level of pettiness”
– @villagetapper: “Portable wey no get shame will still come for him, he should know that there are rumors he is into men allegedly”
– @otomealex: “Deeone sef collect last part”
– @jaynation: “VDM may God protect you for us”
Despite the backlash, VeryDarkMan continues to trend, showing once again how he knows how to stir up drama and get people talking.
