Nigerian gospel singer Chidinma Ekile has shared a very emotional part of her life. She talked about how she spent 40 days completely alone, focusing on prayer and fasting. During that time, she went through serious emotional struggles and was searching for God’s guidance in her life.

She explained that most nights, she stayed outside alone, singing and praying to God. It was a quiet and personal time for her. She said the experience made her feel closer to God than she ever had before.

While on the mountain, something scary happened. Chidinma said she felt spiritually weak at one point and faced a dark moment. She heard a strong voice that told her to end her life by jumping off a cliff.

She said that just as she was about to move closer to the edge, something invisible stopped her. It felt like she couldn’t go any further, as if a wall was blocking her from taking the step. She believed it was God protecting her from making a terrible mistake.

Chidinma said she felt like God was healing her spiritually, as if He was fixing her broken parts. After that experience, she said she no longer chases after material things. She believes the devil tried to destroy her before her time, but God saved her.
