AGN suspends actress Shirley Igwe over alleged assault on crew member

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has stopped actress Shirley Igwe from taking part in any acting work after claims that she attacked someone while on a movie set.

Reports from TVC said that Shirley Igwe was accused of slapping a crew member. The person she allegedly hit is part of the Creative Designers Guild of Nigeria (CDGN), and the incident happened during a film production.

Because of the report, AGN quickly responded by suspending her. They sent out a statement to their leaders and members saying she’s now under indefinite suspension while the matter is looked into.

The Guild explained that she was suspended due to her violent behavior, which could damage the image of the acting profession. They also told all members not to work with her on any movie project for now.
