Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has shared that the club’s summer transfer plan was mainly focused on signing Victor Osimhen permanently.

While speaking to the media, Buruk explained that Osimhen has been the most important part of their transfer plans.

He said everything is going well with the transfer and they are getting closer to completing it. He added that they hope to finish the deal very soon.

Buruk also mentioned that a big budget was set aside just for Osimhen. This shows how serious the club is about keeping him.

He explained that after the Osimhen deal is finalised, they will look at what other players they can bring in.

Reports say Galatasaray and Napoli have already reached an agreement on how to handle the payment. This includes bank guarantees and a plan to pay in parts.

Galatasaray is expected to pay the €75 million release clause in two instalments over the next year.

Osimhen, who played for Galatasaray last season on loan from Napoli, is expected to meet with the fans this week. This could be a sign that the permanent move is almost complete.
